    Ramping not working above z0.

    I am trying to mill a pocket that above z0. I am wanting to use a zig zag ramp into the part. If I set the work surface above z0, the mill does not start ramping until the depth of cut gets below Z0, and then it starts to ramp into the part. I have tried to change everything I can think in the cam module, but nothing seems to work. I am wondering if this is a bug in the software.

    Hello,

    Yes, I'm afraid its a bugette. I have passed it onto the software team.

    The only work around I can suggest it to program the z values below zero and use a G54 and set your Z to be the positive value you require.
