Have a Gweike 1290

Stock Board...

Lately I have been unable to load in cut files, fro Lasercut 5.3. it just seems to freeze.

I am loading in Adobe illustrator files that are simply outlines, and the file sizes are not huge.

Basically trying to cut outlines, the whole size of the bed.

When I hit download to machine, it will start "Compiling" and then never get past a certain stage... Just locks up.

Have tried restarting, both the machine and the laser, and still the same. When testing smaller files, the laser loads them quickly.

Any tips on how to fix this issue?

This happened to me today also.

I think the engravers memory was full.

I deleted all of the files from the engraver then I was able to download new files to it.

Agree with Todd.
Please delete some files from LCD. And give more space for new file loading.
The memory fo LCD is limited and only in 64M.
