Hi.

We are having serious problems with our lathe 2003 KIA SKT28. Control Fanuc OT-i
The machine worked fine, but all the sudden it showed turret alarm "AL-64 Turret index time over"!
Then when we tried to get it working, it showed AL-62 turret amp alarm. Now it shows either alarm every time when started, and I can't even do the zero return because of it.

We have tried all we can and i'm getting desperate because our delivery deadlines are pushing.

I noticed that when the power is off, the turret can be rotated by hand with a little force.
Also when the power is on, it has some degrees of flexibility when trying to do the same thing.
Is this normal??? Or is it due to the alarm?

Is there some manual way to drive the turret to its home position or something??

The battery has plenty of volts and there has never been battery alarm, but I will change the battery when I get one that is right.

Thank you for the manual, I have now tried to do the orientation procedure by first unclamping the turret by pressing "spindle stop-select-feed hold", but nothing happens!
There is now "A-90" alarm on the servo, but I don't know what it means because I think there was originally A-64 which brings back to INDEX TIME OVER.
