    JCUT 6090 CNC Set up

I am trying to set up a JCUT 6090 CNC

NC Studio is now installed and working but when i turn on CNC, the machine moves to the front / right of the machine with the Z axis going up and continues past the limit switches and wont stop (a quick hit of the emergency stop button halted it!)

Is this a machine setting issue or a software issue?

I have seen the problem mentioned before on here but not yet found a solution

    Many thanks
    Steve

I have a JCut 60100 CNC with Mach 3, so I really don't know much about NC Studio.

But it seems to me that your home switches are not configured. You have to define in NC Studio where the limit switches are connected. Usually the controller card is also the place where this connections are. You just have to tell NC Studio in which pin are the limit switches connected. If you don't know, and you're not able to find it by yourself you should ask JCut.

Maybe this link can help you.

Once you start to understand the machine it gets really better and you'll be cutting in no time.

Thanks for that, sorry did not get time to up update thread yesterday.

After lots of searching on here i solved the problem.

The software supplied by JCUT was flagged by my antivirus as being infected. I found another version online but was a lower version.
It turned out this was not compatible with the card but I then found a newer copy of NC Studio which works great.

I have just purchased Vectric VCarve Pro which looks really good for producing G-Code

    Thanks again
    Steve
