    Dirt bike ramp

    Milled some aluminium 6060 to make a seat for my ramps to sit on the tray of my ute.

    Nice!! How did 6060 machine , I make a few things with 3mm sheet 5005 (I think) it's like cutting bubble gum Nightmare!! Just have to do if 0.1 passes

    Hi Rich,
    It mills okay not as good as 2000 series but you have to get your speed and feed right or the milling marks are deep. I TIG weld heaps of 6000 series so it is the best for all round application for me. 5000 series is a bit like that ,marine grade.
