Create a relief in a surface.

    Hi guys,

Been trying for days now to create a canopy recess in my fuse. It needs to be a solid when complete so I can do a Boolean difference for mold making...

The canopy would be about .015 thick.

You views are labeled wrong. The way I did my canopy was to draw a curve on the right view and project to the C plane. Extrude the curve to pass fully thru the fuselage. Use the split command to split the canopy from the fuse. I hope the attachments will help you see what I am saying.

Not sure of the exact outcome you want. If you look at your picture from the front view, draw a curve like that red shape and extrude a surface from it across the fuse. Then you can use the boolean split or something else to get an object to work with.
