ID:	184572Hi Steve, Finally I built the controller.
All functions on the display work. All key presses are fine and I can step through all the function.
Only problem is I don't get any stepper motor turn at all!
I tried inverting the polarity of the step pulse as you suggest in your docs but still the same! No motor move. not in step, jog or continuous mode.
My stepper motor drive board has an 'Run' Led which lights up when I press the direction of run.

    Any Ideas for me.
    Most grateful.

Some additional information since my original post.
Using a 'softscope' I probed the Direction, Step and Enable outputs of my controller.
Results show that when selecting option 4 (Cont) I get the following.
Enable - At 5v goes Low when left or right keys are pressed.
Step - Pulses 5v goes low when left or right keys are pressed.
Dir - At 5v goes low when Left dir is pressed
Dir - At 5v remains at 5v when right dir is pressed. ****is this correct**** ?
Note. Degrees increment and decrement correctly on the display when Left and right direction is pressed.
Note. Schematic shows 5v connected to pins 1, 32 & 11. Pin 11 is isolated and not connected on the PCB
Note. I'm using latest green PCB recently received.

    Hopeful for a fix.

The TB6560 is a notoriously unreliable stepper driver. I would very much recommend buying a driver with a better reputation.

Wow, that came as a bit of a blow James.

Ok, I'll try another and report back.

    Thanks

    Looks like James was correct.
I tried another Stepper driver and that worked just fine, which means Steve's controller does what it says on the can. Works right out of the box. Thanks Steve.

Now I need to set it up. My rotary axis is 6:1 gear ratio so I need to know what to set the worm drive to ?
    Anyone help please.

    James, go to worldofward.com

Steve has done a great job of his rotary axis controller.
Full details on his website, you can purchase the PCB and the pre-programmed pic for very little.

    Regards
