This was not the case several weeks ago. I did something, but I don't know exactly what I might have done so that now when I click on the(contour or pocket) parameter icon in the operation manager, there's at least a 5-10 second delay before it opens. The geometry and associated toolpaths are not particularily complex, so I know that it's not the project's data I am working on. All the other toolpath icons open very quickly. I am working with simple contour and pockets, and these two seem to be searching for something before the window opens. Very frustrating. I've restarted the pc several times, and again, I don't think it's a memory issue, since I don't have much I am working with.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Have you changed any folder names ?
posted an NC file directly to a USB port ?

as you say it seems to be searching for something, is there any dialog boxes, or warning pop-ups ?

try re-selecting your CNC machine again to re-set source locations

Is there a file that MC writes to for remembering the last accessed folder? I did indeed save an NC generated file to a usb disk, but I have since then saved the files in the usual local folders. Changing machine did not improve it. I am sure that there is a reset somewhere.....
