Haas Factory Outlet STL is a leading distributor of Haas CNC machine tools covering Kansas, Missouri, and Southern Illinois. The primary objective of a Haas Sales Engineer is to proactively increase Machine Tool sales through both quality customer service and new customer outreach. Daily activities will include calling customers by phone, conducting face to face meetings, assessing customers’ needs and requirements, preparing quotations and closing sales. As the local Sales Engineer, you will be visiting sites that include industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, R&D facilities, technical schools, facilities of all sizes small to large. An exclusive territory will be assigned with minimal overnight travel required.


What you need to bring to the table:
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the field of Industrial Machine Tool Sales or related industry experience
  • The ability to read and communicate in a professional manor
  • Basic math skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills


In addition you will need:
  • Ability to forecast and plan your sales efforts
  • Basic Skills with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Valid driver’s license
