It seems a little difficult to 100% eliminate . A good HEPA filter can suck much smoke and dust made by the laser, but as my customers said to me, some smell still exists. How about air freshener?
Activated charcoal filter.
If your not pouring out a lot of toxins then filtering thru the ground would do the trick in controlling the smell .
Bury a box and have your vent pipe run into it , a layer of sand on top of the box then some some soft airy soil over top .
Old hippie trick !

Do what I have done cut late at night, I have done most of my cutting after 10pm.... worked for me.
You can find activated charcoal at aquarium suppliers and it comes in small perforated bags so you could probably make a tin box to house it all in and set up a fan to blow through it. Sucking won't be as good.
I am not completely useless.......I can always serve as a BAD example.
You can find Activated charcoal at places like Culligan that sell water filter supplies. I got a 1 cubic foot bag for my water system.
