    Where to buy Brass?

I'm looking to buy some brass barstock, 1/4"x3", 3/8"x3", and 1/2"x3". It's going to be used for a decorative cap for copper based waterblocks.

I was under the impression that brass would be less expensive than copper, but everywhere I looked (McMaster, Enco, Online Metals) it was more expensive. Is this always true, or does anyone know af an inexpensive place to buy brass?

    Brass Source

I have had pretty good luck on ebay and my local metal scrap yard. Usually runs about $1.00 a pound.
