    Lost reference point

Few days ago I was sent to work in a second hand milling machine (KIRA KV 3MC) with Fanuc control, I think is Om because the input panel distribution. There is no manual or any print information about the machine.
I could not work with the machine yet!
When I try to reference the carriages, an overtravel (+Z or +X or +Y) alarm message is displayed, and the machine can not be referenced. I notice that every time I press RESET the position of the axes become 0. Is the same every time the machine is started, no matter where the carriages are positioned.
The tool changer does not work, too. When I try to use T01 M06 there is an sequence error red light in the panel.
I need the machine working, you know. I will apreciate any help.
    Thanks.
    Arturo.

Power on while holding P and Cancel should allow you to home the machine without over travel alarm.
Did you try M06 Txx instead of Txx M06? If M06 call a tool change macro, it must be called before T number.

    Well,
You have to First be clear that the alarm is a Soft OT or Hard OT? Next before tool change The Second reference is also required , As Samu suggested you Power on while holding P and Cancel should allow you to home the machine without over travel alarm.Than do a Second reference and Try to Tool change .

Machine will not change tools until 1st reference is done. Those machines do not use second reference. follow others p-cancel to get the zero return.

    Hello!
    Thanks for your ideas.
I just restart with P and Cancel and the machine could be refered.
Now I'm trying to set a second ref. Working on it right now.

    Hi.
I set a 2nd Ref. Point (Param 735, 736, 737) at -50000 all, and it works! The tool changer is working fine. M06 TXXXX.
    Thanks to all.
    Arturo.
