Hi,
Need a help please...
I make a toolpath in artcam fur cutting circle center inside the square, so in artcam i make a 2D profile toolpath with inside cut for circle and make another toolpath for square using outside cut, i already make sure on artcam the potition origin are 0 for X/Y axis and z axis 10mm for safe, after that i save the toolpath became g code/tap file,

after i try open the g-code on mach3 try to cut outside for making square, it was success all dimension are oke, then i continued with open gcode on mach3 for making circle in the center of square, the diameter of circle is ok but the potition of circle was not on center of the square...


Please Help me what should i do??

I would suggest making sure the machine isn't losing steps. It sounds like the circle is not x0,y0 when starting.

Hi Ray

the potition of X and Y are "0" same potition when i was cutting square...right now the problem was solved by merge the toolpath of square and circle on cam software,
but l still wonder, how if i dont merge the toolpath on Camsoftware make it seperate process on mach3 (cutting outside square after that cuting the circle inide the square..
