There's no play in the trollies, but I can hear when it rolls over chips that fall on the rails. that'll be fixed when I get the dust boot built and installed. I might also add a couple of compressed air lines to blow off the rails if the boot isn't effective enough. It'll all happen one step at a time.

Scrapped the original plan and went with this dust boot/router bracket combination. No more smoke detector going off.

That's a single piece of poplar.

I need to run another one of these but I dropped my 60 degree v bit and it broke. Guess I'll run it again next week. I'm also working on a couple of jewelry boxes, a card case, a wood bowl, the list goes on and on and on. I've got the machine booked up for the next month.

I have a machine that's big enough. My guest room bed is standard size and has a minimal cheap steel frame. I would like to replace it with something better, and larger.

I've scaled the doll bed file to queen mattress size and made some changes to the looks. Mostly the foot board is shorter and the head and foot boards will be solid so that 3D carvings can be done on them. Final dimensioning won't happen until I have a new mattress to get actual measurements from. For now, I used the standard dimensions from charts I found on the web. The plan is to add some 2D carvings to the legs and rails, and 3D carvings on the head and foot boards before actually building it. Depending on which wood is used to build it the cost of the wood could get serious. Poplar or clear pine will work, and red oak would be very heavy and expensive, but that's probably the way I will go with it. Nothing will happen with this while I build a new frame for my big machine during the upcoming winter and spring months.

Scaling it was easy enough. I'll look for the hardware that allows the bed to be disassembled. Or fabricate something simple.
