    RFQ, Shorten Dowel pins

    Shorten 24 dowel pins to 16mm. I can supply 18mm pins.

    Do they need a chamfer put back on the cut end? Or simply cutting 2mm off the end will do? What diameter dowel pin?

    Standard 5mm diameter dowel pin.

    No chamfers, just break the sharp edges.

    Alloy steel, I can supply the pins. +/-.010 on the length

    why not use something already 16mm long.

    You wont beat 50 pcs for $13 (alloy steel, M5x16mm) having someone cut down longer pins

    Because the lead in chamfer on standard pins is too big for my needs
