    Sending files to cnc

I have some training with mastercam v9 and I have been working with cncs since 1990, (operating, programing, setup etc.) Recently I started working for a small company as a cnc operator that uses mastercam x2. Long story short, the old programer is no longer there. They have asked me to step in and do what I can to do programing. I have been working with mastercam x2 for a few weeks now and I'm able to write usable programs. The problem I am having is sending them to the cnc and no one here knows how to do. The cnc is a used Record130. I know to run on the R130 the programs have to be converted from *.xxl files to *.pgm files. with help from cnczone I am able to do that now. My new problem is how do I get the programs transferred from the pc to the cnc. Presently I print out the program and they are typed directly into the R130 controler, which is time consuming and open to errors.

Generally 2 or 3 ways, Floppy disk (older Machines), serial port connection using predator or some other program, terra term, or flash drive.
We're not in business to make parts, we're in business to make money, making parts is just how we do that.

If it is an older NUM control it could be just RS232?

Thanks to all. We used the floppy until I found the route to send programs to the cnc through the serial port.
