    Cincinnati Falcon 300T

Does anyone out there know what the weight distribution is on a Falcon 300T lathe? I am going to need to transport one and was wondering where its 14,600 pounds are. My guess is that it is about 60-70% on the headstock end of the machine realizing that it depends heavily on where the turret is. If I move the turret to near the headstock, would 70/30% be a good estimate or would 65/35% be better?

    Thanks in advance; Hap

At one end you have the headstock, spindle motor, controller with associated electrical cabinet and transformers.
Personally I would move the turret to the opposite end of the bed to help balance it all out.
Rough guess, close to 70% - 80% at the H.S. end?
