    Questions from a swedish newbie!

    Hi!

Sorry for my bad english but I´ll give it a try

I have found some small steppermotors with this specs:
    Motor1: Astrosyn23BB-H027, 18V 75ohms 7.5deg.
    Motor2: Fuji, SM554813, 16V 65ohms.
    Motor3: Siemens, 1BC2826-6AB
    Motor4: Sonceboz,0.25A/ph 75ohms
    Motor5: Moons 14HY4001, 4,27V, 5,7ohms, 7mH, 0,75A

Are this motors useless or could I use them to build a little cnc engravingmachine (just to learn)?

    Motor3, unknown.

Motor5, might be ok for a very light duty system.

    The rest: useless for cnc.

    Bosen,

The bigger the physical case size the better.
If it's not nailed down, it's mine.
If I can pry it loose, it's not nailed down.

For CNC, you want steppers under 6 volts, and the lower the better. Higher voltage motors are generally too slow for CNC. If you can't find a torque rating, you can multiply volts times amps to get some idea of the torque of the motor. For light duty, the volts x amps should be around 3 or more and the higher the better.

Volts, Amps, and Ohms are all related by Ohm's law. ( Volts = Amps x Ohms ) If you know any two, you can calculate the third, so most motors only specify two of the three.
