    calculating pulse equivlent factor for a rotary axis in place of the x axis

    I need some help in calculating the proper Pulse Equivlent Factor for my rotary axis on my 6090 chinese router CNC MACHINE. Thanks for any help.

    first ask seller.. most likely the simplest..

    next figure out the step per revolution for the motor, also figure out the ratio between motor and rotary output (chuck)

    steps on motor multiplied with ratio gives the number you need to set..

    you might remove the cover from rotary checking on the ratio..

    another way trial and error.. that machine very possible 5mm lead on the X and Y axis .. from there you can find the step per revolution for the motor..
    using this value, guessing same motor applied on your rotary try first 1:3 ratio or 1:10

    after set, go into mdi mode and turn your rotary 360 deg, and check how much turned actually.. and set again till you get the proper value..
