hello everyone,
My name is Marc and am new to the CNC community:wave:. I have been gathering parts to build my first CNC router.


So far all axes move but I am having issues wiring the 110V Huanyang VFD to the G540. It is now powered but the spindle does not spin.


I have tried to program the VFD as explained here: http://www.cnczone.com/forums/diy_cn...gs_manual.html
PD0013 to 8
PD005 to 400
PD004 to 400
PD003 to 400
PD144 to 3000 (but i think i should change it to 24000)
and have set PD008 to 110v

What should I do next?

If i understand I should:
- short DCM and FOR on the VFD to turn the spindle on
- connect G540 pin 7 to ACM on the VFD (top row?)
- connect G540 pin 8 to VI on the VFD
- connect G540 pin 9 to 10V on the VFD (I think it is the pin 10V on the top row)
- program VFD PD001 to 1
- program VFD PD002 to 1

Not sure what I am doing...
