    Tool Lenght Sensor EZ-4012-M

    Hello from Germany,
    We have a Chinese 3-axis portal milling machine with Syntec control EZ-4012-M.
    Is not a tool length sensor to this machine.
    Has anyone ever mounted on this control a sensor. If so what type and where it should be connected to the controller.

    regards

    Hello,
    You had to confirm is there tool sensor program in PLC in CF card ,and if there is ,check I definition as well to make sure which point on I card can connect the end of tool sensor signal.

    Then check if you use high level or lower level .
    High level :connect the tool sensor signal to the upper end on I card, the lower end connect to 0V ;
    Lower level : connect the tool sensor signal to the lower end on I card, the lower end connect to 24V ;
