How to limit Z depth on rotary machining?

So I profiling a 4th axis part using a linear motion from 1" bar stock. My machining operation is Rotary Finishing. X Zero is the right hand end of the bar stock and both Y and Z zero are center of the bar stock. Sprutcam tells the machine to plunge clear to the other side of the bar stock (or Z -0.5") every time it returns to X Zero. I assume the is to surface the face of the part at the end of the bar stock.

However, I want no more that .75" of stick out on my 1/4" end mill to reduce chatter. So I need to establish a safe Z depth for Sprutcam to use. For the life of me I can not find one. Is there a way to establish a mazimum Z depth for a rotary machining operation in Sprutcam?

forgot to mention I'm using Sprutcam 8 on a Tormach mill (both 770 and 1100)

ended up writting a regex string to parse the code and look for an Z movement less than -0.25 and make it = Z-0.2500 works like a charm, but there really has to be a way to do this in sprut cam.

if you are intersted this is the regex i used

(Z-0.)[2-9][5-9][0-9][0-9] <-- put in find box

    $1 2500 <-- put in replace box
