Hello everyone,
Ive been looking at this site for over a year, taking in all the designs and knowledge and i want to say Thank you to all the open and helpfull people on here.
I thought it was about time to sign up and start my own build thread to share what i am building and what i have learnt.
Soon i will be buying my motors and control gear, being an industrial electrician im looking forward to using my skills.
Ive still not decided on steppers or servos and will be asking for peoples inputs when the time comes.

















This has been on and off for about 6 months.
Im building a gantry that will work for now and one of the first things i cut will be a new better design, most likly out of ally.

As you can see im not working with much room, i was pretty keen to get a start and its cleared out now.

So let me know what you like or dont like?
Hopefully someone can learn something from my ideas
