we are using a CNC machine having siemens control 840D.The machine is refenced perfectly in eachaxis.
But when we use MDI/Auto mode to edit a programe and start its cycle following messages apears

1. No read-in enable signal

2.PROC PROG_EVENT SBLOF DISPLOF"

3.Caution.simulated programe not identical to called programe

Which mode you use MDA or Auto it not the same mode also function to use.

If you edit NC program in MDA it may not simulate the tool path in monitor.

in Auto mode you can use Simulate in 2 way.
1. Before machine
2. During machine
but in Auto mode you need to load the hold NC program from memory or any input device, not edit (key in) word by words.

Please check you have select the Simulate function key ?
