    over travel

    hi
    we are facing a problem of over travel of + xaxis our system is fanuc 10tf please give solutions

    Try to find the Overtravel release button on machine panel some machine is at Mc On button, some maker has separate near to the door, some maker call "EM"
    Some machine just use the Jog button to move back.

    if can't find open the machine cover guard, or look for limit switch in the back side of the machine, unscrew the limit switch pull it out until the switch release, secure move the machine back by handle, and put it back in the position and screw. Then go on.

    The other way if you can see the x-axis ball screw, and can't find the release button.

    Power off the machine turn the ball screw by hand to move the X-axis down.

    what is the alarm number ? Is it a soft or Hard OT ?
