    What Max Acceleration Design Spec??

What maximum acceleration/deceleration numbers do you use for your plasma table when doing the engineering calculations?

I cannot even remotely guess. I have never seen one of these tables in action. 0ipm to 600ipm in 2 seconds? I dont know? Thanks.

Try one of the free graphical servo spec design programmes like Kollmorgen, Danaher, Allen-Bradley, Parkermotion.com, there are many from practically all servo manufactures, I use the Kollmorgen one to get a basic idea of what I need. These allow you to size a motor to conform to the recommended under 5:1 inertia ratio.
