    cut area

    I was wondering why I get the area of "cut area does not belong to geometry" Any ideas or recommendations?

    When you select a Cut Area it has to be included in Select Part. Either select the white sheet as a component of the Part if you need to stay up off of the actual part where it overhangs the actual part, or you can use Surface Area as your Drive Method and pick the white sheet as your Surface and do not have anything picked as Cut Area, only thing is if you go this route the tool will go thru the sheet until it contacts the part where it overhangs if a Part is selected, if a part is not selected it will use the sheet as a part without being selected.
