How thick are the aluminum plate pieces on the sides of the gantry? Do you notice any flex with it? I have an old x90 made out of mdf, i can "bend" the router up and down probably around 3mm. Just too much flex to cut with the accuracy Im needing.

The vertical gantry plates are 1/2" thick, as are the Y axis end plates. I see no sideways flex on my Meteor at all. No flex at the router mount either. On the Nebula we have where I work I can flex the router mount, but noticed over the break that the bearings on the X axis are adjustable. I'll be checking them this week when I'm back at work.
