    New Erickson QC30 locknut setup

    Hi,

I have a Series I CNC with the Erickson QC 30. My old Locknut went bye bye. I just bought a new one and have
some setup question. How does one put this on? Do you have to remove the long button head screw? Also what
is the purpose of this screw? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Thomas

I guess you got it figured out with the instructions

yes you have to take out the long Button head, on a new install you most likely will have to take out all (3), as you may need to use one of the other holes, for the long Button head screw, be careful when you put the screw in, if it if not in the right place you will damage it, don't disassemble the unit, or you will most likely loose the spring & ball, ( most loose these parts), then they wonder why it won't stay locked
