16C step collet setup for new Lynx 220LM

Hello, we are trying to get our new Lynx 220LM up and running. we are having a hard time figuring out a collet/chuck system for it. We originally had a Royal A2-5 16c Acculength chuck on it but learned it would not work with 16c step collets. So we had Hardinge send a 16c step collet setup with the closer plate, but none of it seems to fit. The closer doesnt fit over the drawtube and the whole set up doesnt have enough offset from the back wall and presetter. Seems there should be some sort of intermediate chuck housing that would house a drawtube adapter for the collet and mount the closer on the front. The Royal rep didnt have an answer for us. Does any one have any ideas on what could work for us? It seems we are going in circles or hitting dead ends. We have a few local tool reps looking into it as well but I wanted to throw it out here as well. Thanks for any help. Let me know if you need more info.

I believe ATS makes something like what you're looking for.

ATS Systems C Style Collet Chucks

Also, Rovi Products offers Step Chuck capability on the 16-C.
