    CNC package

Hoss what do u recomend for very heavy duty milling of Steel and aluminum? what size stepper motors do i need?
Can u used this motor to replace the one i have on my g0704?

Automation Direct E2006, 2 HP 3-Ph, 3600 RPM (7200 Max), Inverter Duty. $441 . Where would i get the belts and pulley for this motor can i buy them or do i have to make them?

The 570 oz/in stepper has proven to provide more than enough power to give the mill all it can handle. This isn't a vmc but for it's size it's a plenty capable hobby machine.
Check out the several machining videos in my projects page.

That's a lot of motor for the mill, 1.5 hp is good enough though I do have a 2hp 56c 3 phase one with vfd to install myself one of these days.
madwelder put one on his and seemed very happy.
You will have to make the mount and pulleys yourself, check his thread to see how he did it.
A link to his build is here under #4.
