    840C frozen on start up?

    840C frozen on start up?

    We have a Hit 8 with 840C. Machine was working normally. Now it locks up after loading the OS. The OS seems to load, but then gen reset page (blue tornado) loads and its locked. Meaning the soft keys do nothing and the small gray icons which normally have text in them (like Gen Rest, OK, Machine data, etc) are blank. Its completely locked, nothing works.

    We have tried the hard reset button on the PC cards. We have spoken to Siemens. Siemens did not have any answers, although I question the experience level of the tech assigned to our case.

    Any help or recommendations on a cracker jack repair company in the NYC area?

    Do you have a technical support case number for when you called Siemens?
