thanks ron22....will try this, thank you again...

by the way i am not so sure if the motor has a hall sensor. from the data sheet, there are only motor encoder pins and motor power pins. i just showed you only the encoder pins..

for the motor encoder pins, there are only the UVW that connect to the amplifier/drive (in this case, the geobrick itself). other than the UVW, theres two pins for the breaks, which in my opinion connects to the I/O board, correct me if my understanding wrong.

all the connectors i have presented you, in the event of no hall sensor, could you kindly educate me on this. do i need it, the importance of it, etc.

    thank you again.

After looking at it again do not hook up
    4- W (POS SIG A)
    5- U- (POS SIG NOT C)
    6- U (POS SIG C)
    14- W- (POS SIG NOT A)
    15- V (POS SIG NOT B)
    16- V- (POS SIG B)

At first I thought they were halls. Now I am guess the wiring diagram is genaric and it is for two different type of encoders. Do you have the partnumber of the encoder or motor?

If you do not have halls you will need to find a different way to phase your motor with the GeoBrick. Look in the manual there is examples of different type of phasing.
