Mastercam Lathe - Switch between D axis, and X axis

Hi, I've been trying to determine what causes the axis X in mastercam to change to D. this will show up when analyzing distance.

when in D mode, setting 'Stock to leave in X' to .01, it actually makes the part .02 bigger
when in X mode, setting 'Stock to leave in X' to .01, it actually makes the part .01 bigger

Does anyone know how to switch between axis? is it the machine definition? control definition? a settings parameter?

I regularly use X, now Mastercam is in D and i'm trying to get it back.

Go to the Planes in your status bar and set it to top to put it in X or Lathe Diameter > +D +Z to put in D.

Do you understand what the D is for and why you get what you when set this way?
(Note: The opinions expressed in this post are my own and are not necessarily those of CNCzone and its management)

    i'dont get it.

I have the same problem, when i'm import dxf file from cad program the distance are okay but when i generate g-code the distance is 2x bigger than original.

I was trying to change planes to +x +z but it doesn't help.

Can someone explain me why it is like that and how to change it to make correct g-code?
