Looking for consultant to help set up a rotary table with a Kuka robot arm

I have access to a Kuka robotic arm. I would like to do 7 axis milling with it. To do that, I need to add a custom-built rotary table. i have been told it's as simple as having the TCP follow a point on the table as it spins. I have done plenty of 3 axis milling with standard CNC routers, this arm project came about because someone donated the whole Kuka setup to my local community workshop. I can program milling successfully using the arm by itself, but I'd really like to be able to mill large busts and statues, which would be much easier with a seventh-axis rotary able.

If you understand all that and can help me build/configure somethng like this, I'd like to hear from you and pay you for your time. Thanks in advance!

working with 3 axis quite simple..
working with 4 or more axis that's already not simple..

it is not likely you buy one more pair shoe for the exist 3 pair shoe...

with rotary table you can work indexing or generate toolpaths by normals..

I have little doubt you see trough this.. simplest would be you cantact the kuka company..

for you the simplest would be rotating the part in a program and creating from 4-6 side toolpaths..

difficulties coming when part has special areas.. imagine a standing figure, hand is in pocket..
between arm and body you cant go simply with normal because theres no room for the milling head..

most possible you will program it like a 3 axis machine, defining planes.. and same way you can build a ""rotary"" table what acutally will indexing only..

one more thing you can try,

The CNC Toolkit - Creative Toolpath Control

    he might can help you..
