If you use small tabs or segment the lines the artwork in its entirety can be done on one piece of material.

See attached example file for a partially segmented dxf. Some of the art does not require segments if you don't want them.

The closed vectors can also be segmented if you like, just break them were you see fit.
Make sure to post an image of your finished work.

Thanks for the response. I have downloaded the puzzle here on this site but I wanted to put it together properly for my customer. That's why I wanted the numbered slots.

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone had a DXF file for a Honda Wing. The one in post #8843 is exactly what I want but when I use that one for some reason the "o" in honda drops way lower than the rest of the word. I also cut out the yamaha logo and that worked perfect.

Thank you but I need the connecting tabs for cutting it out on a plasma cutter. Long story short I have a good friend that has a plasma cutter but other than making brackets for trucks he doesn't really know how to design or modify files. And I'm just a motorcycle mechanic so this is all new to me but I'm trying to learn.
