I dont know if it works on 3d... but there is also a plugin for converting DXF into CNC files...its called the Phlatscript. it was designed for a foam cutter that machines foam from the bottom... SO if you use this the Z axis has to be reversed in the code... but it is freeware... get it here http://www.phlatprinter.com/viewtopi...e5d209f42e972f works on version 6 and 7 of Sketchup as well as Swirchers plugin find.

    Arrow Knot?

This might not be a knot!

    Single line tool path, V-bit.

Inside cuts .125" deep, outer ring .160" deep.

Photograph is the file cut in MDF.

    WAHOO GAME

    Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has a .dxf of a 6 player wahoo game. As always I have been trying to draw one up but can't seem to get it right. I am planning to make another WAHOO board that has a 4 player version on one side and a 6 player version on the other side. Here is a picture of a 6 player game. Thanks in advance.

    Arrow Six Player Board

This 6 player board should work for you & fit on the back side of the 4 unit one.:wee:

I'll be looking forward to another picture of this one.

Eight players might be a few too many!

Check this LINK posts #349 & #353 for several chair DXF's that could be scaled.

That is awesome! I have considered the same project from steel cut with our plasma table. Wjets are pretty awesome though, looks nice!

Do you have the DXF file that you could share?

    Faulty DXF files

Dudes, I've been appreciating some of your work on here but many DXF files are not opening in AutoCAD.
Has anyone suggested a fix for this?

I was having the same issue until I was told to use:

    progeCAD 2008 Smart!

It works like a charm and best of all, it's free. Google it, and enjoy-

    THANKS

I would just like to take a little time and thank all for your help.
12 years ago I fell off of a 32 foot latter, landed on my back and spent a lot of time in a live in rehab unit, underwent about 8 operations and ended up in a power chair.
Today I am 73 and because of many wonderful people and over 1000 pm to many members I have a very nice CNC unit.
I was a custom cabnet maker and did hi-end remodel on baths and kithens.
Three years ago was the first time I even knew how to turn a computer on and did not know what a stepper motor or a DXF file was.
To start what some might saw, (a new life) at 70, is nuts) but it has change and help save my life. I am to undergo another operation on March the 27th. to help relieve the pain i have.
So again, thanks to all and I hope God will bless each of you as he has me.
    Dan
