I have had this thread marked for notification of new posts for years since lakeside started it but since i lost everything in a crash i have forgotten how to mark this for notification and can't figure it out with the menu above so can anyone give me a quick tip as i seem to miss alot between visits? thanks

When you open up Thumbnails from your folder and double click the thumbnail of your DXF (not BMP or JPEG) to expand it, does it not have watermarks after you installed the TXT changed into DLL?

Works for me (thanks).

The way I did it was:

1) Rename old dll as "2CADImage.dll" (for a backup)

2) Copy & paste "CADImage.dll" into the new dll file, when you swap the .txt extension to .dll


Make sure everything is the same as --> CADImage.dll (might be case sensitive?).

I did it the same way,renamed txt to dll and replaced original file with the file XYZADave posted.No more watermark ...

I think I used Arial font set to bold, for the "JR HIGH" text.

I have a jpeg that I need converted to DXF. I have a friend in the Marines that I want to make a custom Coaster for. I have tried to import a wmf file in to Autocad but it says no way. Is there an affordable conversion that works? I have tried the free ones a year or so back and they were a lesson in futility.
