Maybe since you're asking for help, and since someone even offered a design for you that wasn't good enough, you could possibly google something (like clipart) that might actually suit your needs?

Where did he say it wasn't good enough?

He said he wanted to make an edge lit sign based on dxf's (plural) related to music, did it occur to you maybe he wanted more than one music object on it?

    Harsh man!

    cheers,

    Thanks

    Hi Switcher,

Thanks for sharing the link. Like "Ian" had stated I was looking for more than 1 object. My Great Niece is currently taking piano lessons so I thought I would like to have something like a piano, keyboard, musical notes etc. to incorporate into the sign.

Not being much of a graphic artist, I do appreciate all the help that you guys and gals willingly share with me. One of my local friends is also searching for additional material for use in the sign.

I have attached a drawing of what I intend to do for her brother as he is a Starwars fan. Of course it is cut in reverse as the engraving is done on the back side of the Plexiglas. The Clone Trooper also came from another person on the CNC Zone and I thank him or her for sharing. I will share the finished lighted signs when complete.

I really appreciate all the POSITIVE input from the guys and gals here on the CNC Zone.

I really hate to keep asking

But if you have any military related files, such as Combat action badges, Combat infantry badges, patches for any of the big units like the 82nd Airborne, medals such as the purple heart, bronze star.

I am new to this, but if there is anything I have that you need, I will be more than happy to give.

I was hardly being "harsh". :wee:

I was making a point that it seems everyone wants everyone else to do the work for them. I just think it's proper "form" that if you're going to ask for help, you should at least give ideas of what you're after instead of everyone throwing guesses of what you're after.

How hard is it to google a term and then give ideas?

I like helicopter John as I've seen many of his posts, so hush and quit trying to start something that isn't there!
