Been browsing this website for a while and have read many helpful articles. I just purchased a used 2012 Doosan lynx 220 and decided to join the community. My question or problem is I am looking to plumb the air through the turret to have the option to run air or coolant. I am in the plastic industries and sometime medical parts will not allow the use of coolant. The air is mainly for chip control. I know this can be done because we did that to all the machine at my old work...Has anyone done this on a Doosan? Any help would be appreciated...

Might help if you put this in the correct forum...
However, you would need to add a solenoid or 2 on the coolant pump line, and find a extra M code to activate it. Basically, push air instead of coolant through the existing system.

Maybe just a manual 3 way valve leading to the coolant line? You couls then switch between liquid or air and use the same M code for turning it on or off?
