N word sequence numbers and stitching files together

How important are the N word sequence numbers? Can they be eliminated to make my files more compact?

Also, I'd like to modify some part files by pasting in a machining operation rather than re-post the files (there are a lot requiring this one change). This will of course mess up the sequence numbers. Is this even doable?

    Thanks.

    Hello ddgman,
If your Fadal is anything like my TRM, you can eliminate the N Numbers but it will self install them when you load your program, as for "mixed numbers" your control can renumber the program on it's page.

Thanks for the input Joe. We drip feed everything but at least I feel confident that it's worth trying.

BTW Predator will renumber your file or remove all N Numbers to use without.
    Cheers
