    Question Transferring ISO programs using Griffo Bros.

    I have no problems using Griffo to transfer Mazatrol programs using my laptop and rs-232 cable.

    I'm having trouble getting a Mori Seiki to take an ISO program using rs-232 cable.

    Any suggestions?

    Paul,

    What alarm are you getting at the machine when attempting to load into the controller from the PC?

    Try taking a part program stored in the control and save back. Then take the "good" working program just saved and load into the controller. Change the part program number before sending so there is no duplicate file address when sending back.

    Also check the ISO setting at the controller.

    Thanks Greg. I'll give it a shot. Mori control would just keep flashing like it was loading a program. Never got an alarm.
