[Boundary]

Hello Everyone,

I'm looking for a company to scan Gerotor gears for me. I want to do one as a test off, but we have 20 planned to be scanned this year. Gears are up to 4 inches in diameter. Need tolerance on profile to be +/-.001. Need all other features captured in interior non gear section, OD of outer, and Width with be good as well. Gears are one sided, so no need to flip. The Gerotor's are actually two piece, and inner gear set and outer to make the "Gerotor"

Any output is fine, I work SolidWorks so that would be preference if I had one.

I do not need anything fancy as far as 3D Geometry. If all you can give me is the profile in a line that is perfect. Surfaces would actually be overkill/harder to work with, but if that is what I get then I'll make it work.

We have a FARO Edge inspection arm and Polyworks R/E software.
We can laser scan for point cloud data or hard probe a profile.
