Don't ever think these mills aren't producing a lot of torque. I just snapped the motor shaft in two pieces on mine. The stock IH 2 hp motor that's been running the mill for the past 6 or 7 years. I have been slowly working toward building a belt drive conversion for it, but it's not done. Only thing left to do for the conversion is all the parts that need to be milled, of course. I've been putting it off doing work for a guys airplane build. Looks like I put it off too long and of course I got work on it now and more work to do with it.:drowning:

So with all you guys doing the belt drive conversion, is there any spare stock motors out there for sale, cheap if that's possible. And maybe close to Wichita, Ks.

How close are you to Wichita. I have a spare stock one I will give you if i can find it. I am in olathe.

Thanks to Rob in Olathe I have a donor motor and the mill lives again.
