Thank You for accepting me as a new member. My name is Ron and I just recently purchased my first CNC laser. It isn't even out of the box yet as I have been in the process of moving. I am a newbee to this so I will be in much need of guidance in my new venture. I have been doing woodworking as a hobby now for the last 3 years and decided to try working with laser technology to create better images. Thanks in advance for all your help and resources.

im a proffesional designer in the event and exhibit industry. Bought my first CNC router a couple of weeks ago. SCM record 220 oldie from 1996. Got it working just a few days ago, ran into some small problems, with help from this forum by just reading older posts))

im running Rhino 5 with MADCAM, a newby on both , been using sketchup since version 3, so there is some basic knowledge.

Scapmetal: My understanding with Bob Cad is that if you purchase their program, they will supply you with a post to run your machine. That was the arrangement when I bought my program(s).
