Hello everyone,
Reside in Saskatchewan, Canada. Interested in general design and fabrication. Am trying to school myself about this cnc stuff. Have a couple older manual lathes, a few welders,ect. I'm trying to get a victor 1660 going(need some gears and a phase converter(thinking I'll get an AR for the phase converter), and am looking into/for a smaller used CNC mill in the near future(tormach/mini mill). Would love to end up with a hobby/part time machine shop. Like building things and projects.

Hi everyone!

I'm 26 from Singapore! i've recently quit my job to go into a new business, and i purchased an Epilog Laser (50W) which is arriving next week.
i'm having a lot of difficulty finding laserable materials in Singapore, and i don't even see much of it in Asia, anyone facing such a problem as well?

By laserable i mean not only wood, but laserable foam boards (not sure if the normal ones you see at art shops will melt etc..), rubber for rubber stamps, plastic sheets (like transparencies) etc..

I'm honestly very new to the whole concept of CNC, i just did a quick search when i came across this website, hope to make new friends and learn more from everyone here!
