Well I am getting an error when I try to run the Sim. Error reading XML file. I had a Bobcam tech try and help but he could not. Before I reinstall Bobcad again I would like to see if anyone has fixed this problem. I can see all of the Xml files in the folders Bobcad cannot see them. I checked the paths in the mill sections and they are pointing to the correct paths. LOST LoL.

PS I can Post and save the TP and Mach 3 can run them.

What machine definition are you use? I would try just using the default bc3xmill and see if the problem goes away. My thoughts are you made some change the the machine def and that is why you are having an issue.

I guess I forgot the part about contacting tech support and they could not help. They even logged into my computer. He gave up and suggested a reinstall. I was hoping to avoid that. This will be a third install of the software and I would need to go through the validate game again. All this of course means lost time and effort. I just want to use the program. Aside from all this is the constant crashing. It appears that Bobcad is not running under windows 8 very well.

I have used Bob for 4 years,2 different versions,did a re-install once,but it was not needed.Thought I needed to do re-installs about a dozen times.Nope.Usually something easily fixable.

The problem was : I could not get the sim to run. Error creating XLM or reading xml file. Solution after calling and getting tech support. Having them log into my computer then telling me to re-install Bobcad, was to move the xml file to where bobcad was looking. I do not know which xml it was looking for I just moved all of them.
