Cnc part larger than cad drawing

I have my part drawn up in Solidworks. Dimensions are mm perfect. I use Solidcam to generate the gcode. I load the gcode into my second computer hooked up to the cnc using NC studio.

Simulation looks ok but when I run it the part is nearly three times the original size of drawing. Any ideas?

Is the part perhaps 2.54 times larger than the cad? Sounds like one of the comps is setup in inches.

That might be true, but the OP said his file is in MM, so it should end up 25.4 times larger if that's the case.

OP, can you post the model? If not, can you create a sample model that causes the same problem and post it?

Hi. Yes I can and will if it hasn't been sorted. I did double check settings and even though both computers had Solidworks setup in mm sure enough xp on one of the computers was setup in inches. I've changed it now so will do a test and let you know.

    Thanks for the help

For anyone else in the same boat when I measured it it was exactly double. Did this by marking a point and doing 10mm movements. Turned out it was a setting in nc studio that was incorrect.
    Problem fixtured!
