    Fanuc 3T servo voltage

I am having ongoing issues with my drives and noticed when I put the voltmeter on A-1, 1-2, A-2 of both the X and Z drives it read 96.9. It's a Fanuc 3T with A06B-6045 H001/2 drives. From reading other related posts I'm guessing I have to get that voltage down but looking at the 3 phase transformer that powers the servos I don't see where I would adjust it. Am I looking in the wrong place?

Check that you have 100vac between terminals 3 and 4.
If you do, see if both contactors on the drives try to pull in.
If both contactors pull in and drop out again, pull the main fuses and indicator fuses on each drive (note do not remove fuses on front circuit board and if this is a slant bed support the turret so the axis does not drop.). See if the control comes up.
If control comes up, replace fuses on one drive and try again.

what is the alarm on screen ?

There is no alarm (digital LED's no screen) with the exception of the red flashing light on the NC panel, no codes though. When you say remove the main fuses and indicator fuses (the 6 15a fuses on the small pcbs on the front are good) I am confused, there are only 3 small green 10a fuses on the X drive.

I suspect your transformer is .....-0079
this one has non-adjustable primary winding, therefore it's impossible to get another voltage on secondary
why do you think 97V is too much?
if your motor is model 0 the secondary voltage is 60V
    model 5 - 90V
    model 10 - 90 or 120V
    model 20, 30, 10H - 120V

I wasn't sure what the voltage on the motor was (the tag is damaged) I know it is a 5 though. I just can't figure out why the fuses keep blowing I thought maybe there was over voltage somewhere.

you may put filament lamps instead of fuses when testing your drive and don't blow the fuses
besides there have to be settings on the PCB to increase firing angle of thyristors (decrease the current)

I'm going through the Z axis motor as well, it still shows OVC on that drive. I have TGLS on the X drive and the motor ran away when I powered on. After I get that done I will look at the settings on the PCBs...
