Delcam are currently hosting a number of free online demonstrations over the course of the next 2 weeks of its latest CADCAM software range, ArtCAM 2013. ArtCAM is a range of CADCAM software packages that offer 2D and 3D design functionality as well as 2D and 3D machining strategies for a number of industries including: jewellery, sign-making, furniture manufacture, engraving, ice-carving, mould making for confectionary, packaging and movies, amongst many others.

Up-and-coming demonstrations will take place at 3 different times during the day: 10am, 2pm and 4pm GMT.

Tuesday 29th October - ArtCAM Express 2013

This demonstration will be on Delcam’s ArtCAM Express, the entry level product which starts at £99/€125/$149 and includes 2D design and 2D/3D machining capabilities. The Halloween themed demonstration will cover features such as:
• Vectorising an image
• Creating a texture from an image
• Creating text
• V-bit Carving
• Machine Relief
• Area Clearance & Profiling

Thursday 31st October - ArtCAM Insignia 2013

This demonstration will be on Delcam’s ArtCAM Insignia, the introductory 3D modelling and machining package. The Halloween themed demonstration will give you the opportunity to see some of the new vector creation and distortion tools, creating reliefs from vectors, adding linear or curved fluting to your designs and basic sculpting, amongst many others.

Friday 8th November - ArtCAM Pro

This demonstration will be on Delcam’s ArtCAM Pro, the advanced artistic 3D modelling and CNC machining package. The demonstration will cover some of the key features in Pro such as creating, distorting and fixing vector drawings, interactive relief distortion, sculpting, and creating organic textures, amongst many others.
